DON'T WISH THEM!

To wish the non-Muslims with Merry Christmas or any of their religious festivals is haraam (forbidden), by consensus of the ulama (ijma’), as Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said: “Congratulating the kuffaar on the rituals that belong only to them is haraam by consensus, as is congratulating them on their festivals and fasts by saying “A happy festival to you” or “May you enjoy your festival”, and so on. If the one who says this has been saved from kufr, it is still forbidden. It is like congratulating someone for prostrating to the cross, or even worse than that. It is as great a sin as congratulating someone for drinking wine, or murdering someone, or having illicit sexual relations, and so on.

Rasulullah SAW bersabda yang ertinya :
“Sesungguhnya matahari dan bulan adalah dua tanda dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah. Kedua-duanya tidak gerhana disebabkan matinya seseorang atau disebabkan lahirnya. Tetapi kedua-duanya merupakan dua tanda dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah menakutkan hamba-hambanya. Apabila engkau melihat perkara tersebut, hendaklah engkau solat dan berdoa sehingga gerhana itu hilang pada pandangan” – (HR. Bukhari dari Abi Barkah)

Pernahkah anda mendengar nama Adnan Menderes? Adnan Menderes adalah anak kepada seorang tuan tanah di Aydin,Turki yang telah dilahirkan pada 1891 di penghujung era Daulah Uthmaniyah. Beliau adalah seorang graduan di bidang perundangan daripada Law School of Ankara University.
Dengan bakat kepimpinannya yang tinggi, beliau telah dibawa masuk ke dalam Republican People’s Party (RPP) oleh pemimpin utamanya Mustafa Kamal Atatürk pada tahun 1935. RPP yang merupakan parti kerajaan pemerintah adalah satu-satunya parti yang legal di Turki pada ketika itu.

Sebelum Sayyidina ‘Umar masuk Islam, Nabi saw. telah berdoa “Ya! Allah engkau kuatkanlah Islam dengan salah seorang dari dua Umar”…iaitu Umar bin Khattab dan ‘Amru bin Hisyam (Abu Jahal). Umar bin Khattab r.a. telah terpilih antara 2 Umar itu.”

The last Cherokee chief who had a Muslim name was Ramadhan Ibn Wati of the Cherokees in 1866.


It is hard to tell whether Mahir is referring to a "last Cherokee chief" or a "last Cherokee chief with a Muslim name". There is no "last Cherokee chief" as the Cherokee still have "chiefs" to this day. As far as the "last Cherokee chief with a Muslim name", then who were the other Cherokee chiefs who supposedly had Muslim names?

Settler violence has continued to increase in recent months. Attacks on Palestinian property—notably olive trees, agricultural land and mosques—and physical attacks have intensified.

Tensions in the run up to the Palestinian bid for statehood at the UN and the demolition of the illegal settler outpost of Migron are the most recent reasons for the spike in settler violence.
